Mirage World Tribal Fusion has been dancing together since 2006.
We offer several levels of World Tribal Fusion belly dance classes each week and enjoy teaching others about this beautiful dance art.
We never have enough time (or enough belly dancing trinkets), but we have an over abundance of fun and laughter.
We have had the privilege of dancing and learning from many that inspire and leave us in awe. Dr. Piper Reid-Hunt, Doris Iren, Suhaila Salimpour, Urban Gypsy, Kassar, Bella NaTana, Unmata, Sashi, Wendy H., Kandi, n.o.madic, Zahra Zuhair, Sitamun and Mek. To our instructors we say, "Thank you so very much!"
Mirage hosts Tribal Synergy, an annual weekend-long workshop that brings belly dance instructors from around the U.S. right here to our region!!!!
We want to say, "Thank you" to all who have attended our workshops, performances and classes, as well as to our community for your well wishes and support.
Keep in touch and watch us grow.
In 2010 we are welcoming back Ali, of n.o.madic tribal, along with Melanie and Karin of Kassar. Additionally, we are honored to have with us - for the first time - Steph and Jolie of Read My Hips, from Chicago!! http://tribalsynergy.eventbrite.com/ Follow this link to find out more and register for this tribal-tastic event!
In 2009 we have had the honor of performing for Art In The Park, Westminster Belly Dance Meet-Up First Annual Hafla, Wind-Up Space (Baltimore), Fall Fest, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fundraiser at McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland with our sister-student-troupe Oasis.

webassets/janetmaneater.jpgJanet has been dancing and modeling since age 4.  She is our motivator and we are where we are because of Janet!!  She describes herself as a "silly, professional chic born and bred in Maryland".  We know her as an avid learner and a go-getter.  Her love of belly dancing continues to grow by leaps and bounds.

webassets/wendyveilflower.jpgWendy has been dabbling in dance, music and yoga all her life. She loves chocolate and enjoys making costumes, belts and jewelry for belly dance. So, keep your eyes on this site for a link to her "store". Wendy has learned a lot from Janet and her students, and wants to say "Thanks chics". Namaste.
